Pictures Are Worth a Thousand Words

Here is a picture of Fr. John with members of a large family in South Jersey. One of the daughters wrote him to ask for help for her family - so he and Pat loaded up the car and off they went. Do you see the smiles - THIS is what makes it all worthwhile!

Thank You to Jennifer from Jackson

Thank you for you donation - but more importantly, thank you for the verse you sent. It speaks volumes. Here for everyone's reading pleasure - and to provoke some thought - is the verse Jennifer sent.

"

Matthew 25:35-40 (New International Version)

35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'

37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'"

Pat & Father John - On The Road Again

Thought you might like to see our Fr. John at work - these pictures were taken by Pat - they are delivering baby items to two couples who were nice enough to let us have a Kodak Moment. Thank you so much. Really puts meaning to what we do.

We Got Her, We Got Her!!

We would like to welcome Krystal Widman into our small organization! We are so happy she joined us! She has lots of energy and a true desire to help others. She has bought with her her experience working with People in Transition as well as knowing personally (as do all of us) what it's like to struggle.

Truthfully, we've been hoping to recruit her for some time now. I would say we got lucky and the time was right.

Our Newest Partner - Krystal "It's Time to Care"

We have partnered with Krystal who uses the slogan "Its time to Care" on her requests for help as a way to remind others that it truly IS. Now more than ever. She is in the process of applying for her own 501(c)3 -unless we can convince her to join us (SMILE). She is a very young woman who has used her own resources to set up her storage unit and garner volunteers. We are very impressed, since she is also the mother of a small child, works for another charity AND goes to school. We plan to include her accomplishments as part of our blog since we are all in this together. She can be contacted at itstimetocare@gmail.com
July 29/09 In the last week she has helped:
