We stumbled across this little gem via my phone's navigation tool, and since it was open and had a room available, we jumped on it. Bad decision.
From the outside, I thought it would be super cute inside - it looked like a little village! Not so. We stepped foot into a tiny apartment-type mistmatching furtniture, mirrors all over the walls motel room thing, circa 1972. I honestly thought this was were I was going to die. There was a weird little kitchen area, tilted floors and ceilings, very little light, and everything squeeked - the doors, the floor, the sink - everything. OH, and the tv, which was located in the weirdest corner of the room by the door (not really ideal for bed tv watching) had a remote that didn't even work. And there were no clocks anywhere. And it smelled funny. And the sheets were dirty.
Never, never, never, ever again. I'll sleep in my car.

What a blessing
WE HAVE BEEN SO BLESSED THAT A NURSE HAS DECIDED TO ADOPT SEVERAL FAMILIES SINCE SHE NOTICED NO ONE ELSE HAS.WE ARE SO APPRECIATIVE SINCE ALL WE HAVE IN OUR HOLY ANGELS ACCOUNT IS $50.OO TO USE TOWARDS GIFTS.WE GET VERY LITTLE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IF ANY.SO WHEN WE HAVE IT WE TRY TO SAVE IT FOR HOLIDAYS.WE WANT NO FAMILY TO GO WITH OUT THIS CHRISTMAS.WE STRIVE FOR 2-3 GIFTS PER CHILD.

Peachess request for Christmas
JUST TALKED WITH PEACHESS HER COMPUTER IS DOWN.AND SHE HAS NOT BEEN FEELING WELL BUT SHE STILL GAVE ME A SHORT VERSION OF ITEMS SHE DESPERATELY NEEDS FOR CHRISTMAS HERE GOES;
5 pairs of baby booties,baby blankets,recieving blankets and
13 teens ages 12-15 yrs boy and girls,not counting some smaller age children but her main concern is those teens.So many times parents are turned away from churches when they ask for assistance because the cut off age is usually 11 or 12 yrs.She needs 2 black dolls for 2 teenage girls.She needs jewelry making kit for 1 teen who thinks she would love make her own jewelry although she has none.2 teens want porcelain white dolls wanted regardless what they look like.1 girl teen loves clowns so anything to do with clowns would be great.Teen boys want anything mechanical,model airplanes or model cars,checkers,1 teen wants a chess game although he doesn't know how toplay chess yet.But says he will learn as soon as he gets one(lol,talk about confidence)1 teen wants monopoly game.The rest of boys anything would be nice.Total 6 teenage girls and 7 teenage boys.And if we get extra items Peachess goes to poor ghetto area in Trenton and usually hands out an item.We also need about 20 candy canes and coloring book with crayons for our volunteer Dorothy who goes to Camden's poor area and gives the children candy canes and coloring books.
