Help Needed with Household Items

Two women, starting over, located in Toms River.  All they need are towels, washcloths, toiletries, blankets, sheets and  household items.  Furniture has already been donated to them.

Trip to Millville

April 11/10: Although it is out of the areas we usually help, we took a car load of clothes for the needy in Millville, NJ.  We were advised of  their need when the Methodist Church in Millville contacted Fr John and requested Summer clothes.  They have plenty of Winter clothes that were previously donated. Millville's population is approximately 28,459 people with an annual household income that is 8.72% lower than the US average of $6,058.  Millville's unemployment rate is 15.50 percent, the average in the US is 8.50%.  Since 1990 job growth is negative. 

Donation to Homeless in Lakewood

Here's a picture of the large tote of new underwear and socks we donated to the homeless colony in Lakewood.  Fr. John has been working with Harold Harmon of "The Chapel in the Woods" - you can find them on Facebook and their blog Chapel in the Woods .  Please check them out and help if you can.

Urgently Needed for Women's Shelter

Just got this in from Fr. John - The women in the shelter need following items:  sanitary napkins, deodorant, diaper cream,  baby wipes, pull ups for toddlers and diapers large sizes 4-5-6.  If you can help, please let us know.  These are items are desperately needed.

Update on Fire Victim

The woman who was burned over 70% of her body is having a second graph done this week.  She is still in an induced coma and infection is setting in.  It's going to be a long road if she gets better.  

We will continue to post updates and a needs list for this family as we get more information on their status.  We are keeping them in our prayers.
