NOT SURE HOW MANY OF THESE REQUESTS WE WILL BE ABLE TO FILL BUT WITH SANTA'S ELVES ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE
Due to the majority of our regular donars assisting Hurricane Sandy victims we have had no Turkeys or Thanksgiving supplies donated.Several people emailed us to also tell us they would not be adopting a Christmas family this year.Due to the devastation of the storm it is only reasonable that those in more need get the help they deserve.
Susan from New Eygpt donated shoes, purses, and 1 comforter. Debbie from Toms River donated large bag of socks for children Fr.John donated 60 Bibles to pass out for Christmas. David from Marlton donated 50 dollars, toys and boy clothes Jamie from Whiting donated 2 car seats and 1 baby swing Jerrys Auto Body in Jackson donated clothes, small household items and gift cards Melodi from Jackson donated toys and little boy Winter clothes Don Green from Howell donated a dozen new hoodie type jackets
A woman who always donates to us several times a year is now asking for help. All the childrens Christmas gifts were hidden down stairs.Sadly Hurricane Sandy ruined all the toys and their vehichle amoung other items.Women asking only for Christmas toys for her children. We hope someone will read this and help.
A couple who we had helped has just emailed us. They lived near a lake.House flooded, they lost almost everything. No electric and dogs made it out ok. The man became paralyzed from Hurricane Irene. Now this. So sad.We assured them once they get a place we will help. They are staying with inlaws. One tv needed also.So can watch updates on Storm Relief
We have been asked by 2 families from Seaside if we could get some items for them when they get situated. The list so far consists of blankets, silver ware, dishes, toiletries and pots n pans.We were told that quite a few churches are collecting clothes for them.Plus one family is getting assistance from a reputable organization. The one family has 3 boys and had just bought a house on the bay near Seaside. They are staying with relatives.Saw there house on tv they lost everything. The other family is an elderly couple they will get back in touch with us once they get settled. They asked for kitchen items and blankets. We have only been asked by 2 families so far for assistance. If we get any more requests we will post them. If anyone would like to donate the items mentioned above we would be more than glad to schedule a pick up.Thanks
