Debbie bought 2 new chairs for Helen so if she ever has company there is somewhere for them to sit. Helen is sitting next to drill on kitchen table. The drill was used to make platform for mattress

Before & after pictures of Helen's bedroom on the REZ

Helen has slept on the floor with a mattress for years. She has problems getting up and down due to bad hips. When our volunteer saw her bedroom she went out and bought some wood so her and Henry(Helens friend)could make a platform for the mattress to be up off the floor.Debbie said"Helen was so so happy.
Take note there are no curtains and no furniture.Helen hopes to be able to one day afford curtains for her windows.

Life on the REZ

This cute little boy was not shy at all when Debbie wanted to take his picture.
