We are nearly out of inventory on size 2T and 3T boys and girls clothing. We just got another family - a Dad who was left with his toddler son - who also wears size 2T.
We just received a large donation from Carter's that contains lots of other needed items - like panties, socks etc. but very little in clothing for day to day. If you can donate, please contact us and we will be glad to arrange a pick up that is convenient for you.
Thank you and God Bless.

Fr. John and Pat Update
Since Jan 1/2010, Father John and Pat have provided help to 37 families, not counting donations to churches and the homeless colony in Lakewood. We provided Easter Dinners and baskets - some courtesy of our wonderful supporters; not to mention clothing, food, baby items, you name it - to those in need in our area. The itemized list is fairly long - it will be posted as soon as Suzann gets the updates.
Also please take note, our organization unlike others, does not sell any of our donated items to make money. The majority of Organizations sell items to cover the expense of gas, storage space rental, etc. We depend solely on donations and oftentimes (more often than not :~) reach into our own pocketbooks for many of our expenses. Without the generous support of others, we would not be able to help those in need.
Please keep us in mind for donations of gently used household items and clothing - we are happy to arrange a pick up and will provide a receipt if you would like one. If you can, please consider a small monetary donation. As the economy continues to falter, people need our services more than ever.
And a PS from me-I am looking for bicycles and scooters for our Mom of 6. The kids range in age from 11-16 - if you have one to donate please contact us.

Fr. John Visits Homeless Colony
Harold Harmon, one of the men who ministers to the homeless, took Fr. John to visit the homeless colony today. The men and women there made him feel very welcome. He also met Rev. Steve who has done much good for those who stay there. The people now have a shower and several decent tents to sleep in and a stove to cook on. Harold and Rev. Steve have made a huge positive impact on the lives of these folks and have made the plight of the homeless visible to those communities in the area of their colony. They always need new socks and underwear as well as other adult clothes. If you can help, please contact us or visit Harold's Facebook page "The Chapel in the Woods" to send him a message
Thank You, Deborah Dutcher!!!
In addition to other children's items, Debrah Dutcher of Red Bank donated new outside children's toys including a sliding board. Deborah is a local celebrity and has been in several musical plays. Deborah can be heard as the voice of Carly the Crab. She has also done several ad campaigns. If you would like to know more about Deborah, check out her web site www.deborahdutcher.com. Debby will be performing in "Broadway Comes To Red Bank" at the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, NJ Saturday October 3, 2010. We are very grateful she thought of us when she decided to find someone to donate to. THANK YOU!!

Trip to Millville
April 11/10: Although it is out of the areas we usually help, we took a car load of clothes for the needy in Millville, NJ. We were advised of their need when the Methodist Church in Millville contacted Fr John and requested Summer clothes. They have plenty of Winter clothes that were previously donated. Millville's population is approximately 28,459 people with an annual household income that is 8.72% lower than the US average of $6,058. Millville's unemployment rate is 15.50 percent, the average in the US is 8.50%. Since 1990 job growth is negative.
