Charity"s in USA

There are about 1.5 million charity's in the USA.
Not all of them are efficiently runned .Often nonprofits Charity's
 do not engage with the causes and the people who are really in
need.
example:instead of giving money for the hungry to an organization
why not give to your local food banks.Where you know it will
benefit your local communities.Alot of money donated to Charity's
actually goes back into marketing and not to those in need.
It is very generous to give but before making a donation make
sure the charity is a reputable organization.
